Very identical to the Belkin Snapshield version… But slightly more expensive at Php1,450…

Using one on your iPad2 would really bring out the iOS device’s key feature… Slim and light body profile.

But like any other hard case back cover in the market… You will still be needing to buy a smart cover for the front of your iPad2.

Would I buy one? Maybe not… There are other better ipad2 case solutions in the market… Like the Speck Pixelskin HD…

I was able to closely try one at Power Mac Trinoma…

Clearly a cheaper alternative to the original at Php1500.. Assembled in HK, PRC… China… Cheap clone… With the markup by apple store, my guess is that this would only about 1.0k ~ 1.2k in the Greenhills Mobile Market…

Some of the apple reps told me that it falls apart quite easily… As in the magnetic hinges of this smart cover was not made very well and broke quite easily.. Also the magnet isn’t as strong as the original apple smart cover…

The only good thing is that it comes in many colors… Including black…

Would I get one? Maybe not… I’d rather get the original smart cover..

But the safe and better purchase would be the Speck Pixelskin HD… For about 500 bucks more… this I would Highly recommend for new iPad2 owners/users…

The speck pixelskin HD, IMO, is the best iPad2 case you can get for your precious iPad…. all around protection for the edges of your iOS device…

Excellent grip when holding your iPad….

It comes in red blue and black… I prefer the black… More discreet and low key when using your iPad in public…

Just go ahead and buy it online at $49.. then have it shipped to your place via Johnny Air Cargo – for sure, that will be a lot less than Php9,500

Php 9500 just for that item is a total rip off… just because it’s rare.

I went to the Power Mac Center in Greenbelt and it wasn’t on display, so I asked a saleslady. Turns out they had only one left in the back storage area. YEY! Bought the last one! And I’m so happy with it!
