Apple iPad Singapore Prices very affordable!

The Apple iPad will be officially available starting July 23, 2010 in Singapore. The official prices are actually very affordable and reasonable compared to the gray market prices here in the Philippines. I also heard that you can actually get a 7% rebate if you’re a foreigner buying there. I have a feeling that iPad prices here in the Philippines will go down drastically. To those who are planning on buying, try to hold on for a couple of weeks. You’ll definitely save some cash if you do so. Price list after the break.

iPad WIFI (only) 16GB – $728.00 (P24,663)
iPad WIFI (only) 32GB – $878.00 (P29,744)
iPad WIFI (only) 64GB – $1,028.00 (P34,826)

iPad WIFI+3G 16GB – $928.00 (P31,438)
iPad WIFI+3G 32GB – $1,078.00 (P36,520)
iPad WIFI+3G 64GB – $1,228.00 (P41,601)

Just so you guys have a point of comparison the Apple iPad 64GB WIFI+3G is being sold for P52,000+ in the gray market locally. That’s more than P10,000 in savings. The basic iPad 16GB WIFI only is usually priced at P31,000. That’s P6,000+ in savings. Not bad eh? :)

Darn, that’s way cheaper than the iPads being sold here in Leyte! I saw a local tech peddler the other day selling iPads for something like P45,000.\

I think I should just ask some friends in Singapore to buy one for me. :D
