SwitchEasy rolled out two new products for the iPad. Initially they started with the SwitchEasy Nude cases when the iPad first came out to the market. Now they have two new offerings – the SwitchEasy iPad Ribcage Sleeve and the SwitchEasy iPad Pure Protect. I’ve yet to see a local distributor sell this here in the Philippines. The good news though is that you can buy these products online from the SwitchEasy website. I bought from them before and it just took them 3 days to get the product to my doorstep. SwitchEasy iPad Ribcage Sleeve
Product Features:

Impressions:
I’m seriously tempted to order this one. The design is just awesome and I’ve been on the lookout for a good iPad sleeve that can really protect the iPad from falls. The ones being sold right now are made from neoprene which really won’t do any good if you drop it. The product costs $50 USD inclusive of shipping so that’s roughly P2300-P2400.
SwitchEasy Pure Protect
Product Features:
- Tough, Scratch resistant shield
- No Dust Antistatic membrane
Impressions:
This is a direct competitor of Wrapsol. It’s basically an invisible coating which will protect the iPad from scratches. This is more for people who want to keep the look and feel of the product intact. They have three variations: PureProtect™ – High Gloss ultimate clarity, PureAnti?Reflect™ – Smudge-proof, no-glare display, and PureReflect™ – True Mirror reflection. If ever I’m going to buy this, I’ll go for Smudge-proof. Sells for $30 USD which is approximately P1300.
Wrapsol for the iPad is being sold locally by Digital Hub for P1950. Considerable price difference there.

Awesome! Now the ribcage sleeve is gonna be the 2nd reason why I’m getting an iPad, if ever I am able to get one. First reason is so I can finally read the husband’s collection of digital graphic novels.
